What is the true meaning of a love song?

Is it to inspire some to feel emotions that are unclear to them? Well maybe.

Or is so people who aren’t particularly romantic have something to show/sing to the one that why love. Again, maybe.

But maybe there’s still an ever deeper layer to it, maybe, its for the people who write the Love Songs, to express themselves in such a way that every one that hears it feel the same emotions he/she felt.
